Welcome to the Journey

Arise, come with me.

Life rarely feels like a straight line. Often, we find ourselves walking through seasons of quiet emptiness, waiting for the real life to resume. I’ve been there, clutching my own questions, looking for signs of hope in the silence.

It was in one of those quiet, desert-like seasons that I heard the invitation: Arise, my darling, my beautiful one, come with me.

Arise, Come with Me is the fruit of that journey. It is a study born not out of perfection, but out of a real, messy, beautiful walk with the Lord. Whether you are feeling steady or shaken, whether you’ve walked with God for decades or are just starting to whisper His name, this book is an invitation to go deeper.

This book is an invitation to step out of the rush and into the love that has been reaching for you all along.

About The Book

A Journey Out of Emptiness

In 2023, while the world was trying to find its footing again, I found myself in a strange, quiet desert. I mourning the death of my mother and father-in-law from COVID.

Then, one morning, the silence was broken by a whisper from the Lord: Arise, my darling, my beautiful one, come with me.

That invitation from the Song of Songs became the foundation of this study. Arise, Come with Me is the fruit of that journey, a map for anyone who has felt the sting of sorrow, the weight of grief, or the strange, hollow ache of feeling disconnected.

This book is for anyone who has ever felt a sense of emptiness, even while staying busy with life and faith. It’s for those who want to move past simply knowing about God’s love intellectually and instead experience it as a lived, daily reality.

Absolutely. Arise, Come with Me is designed to be just as effective in a group setting as it is for personal study. Each chapter includes reflection questions and practical exercises, making it easy to facilitate discussions that move from the page into your shared lives.

You won’t find a dry, academic lecture here. I write with a voice from the pews style. Honest, relational, and grounded in the real world. It’s a book about coming out of the shadows of performance and finally resting in the truth that you are fully known and deeply enjoyed by God.

That is exactly why I wrote this. I know what it’s like to feel that strange emptiness, even when you’re trying to do all the right things. This book is meant to remind you that His silence isn’t abandonment.
